 photo: david lindley as good tourists do we grumbled and moaned when taken to the ceramics factory; after all we would doubtless be expected to buy something. we watched the potters at work and were duly taken to the factory shop where, still grumbling, we searched amongst the piles of produce for something that'd fulfill our obligations but still be of some use. eventually we found three little bowl that we figured would be ideal for olives or whatever and went on our way. time elapsed and we started to use the bowls back at home and...they were only 15 pence each, why didn't we buy hundreds? moral of the story, be more open minded; they're not all out to rip us off. | |
