 photo: sue lindley 'heya heya' south of the square lies the onze lieve vrouwekerk (the church of our lady) the spire is 122m high and is apparantly one of the tallest in belgium. unfortunately i didn't get to visit inside the church as i spent most of the afternoon singing 'heya heya' along with a group of peruvian musicians who had attracted quite a crowd outside, to my surprise i thoroughly enjoyed myself and even ended up buying their CD which i can't stop playing! | |
