 photo: sue lindley atlas foothills we drove to a village at the foot of the atlas mountains where mules were waiting for us to carry our overnight bags to our gite, right the heart of the mountains. we followed on foot for roughly an hour or so leaving all trace of modern civilisation behind. a quick thanks to everyone who has commented in the last few days. sorry we have not responded, david has been stuck in manchester without a computer! ...oh and Bob, by the way, yesterday's sunrise was the remains of the wide open riverbed, largely without water & not a puddle! | |
