 photo: david lindley everyone who travels to this part of the world seems to return with a tale of how they were parted with the contents of their wallets when dealing with the local sharp business men. our tale concerned carpets and a faulty understanding on my part of the position of a decimal point! suffice to say, it wasn't until we were a way down the road holding our precious cargo tightly that the real cost tumbled into my head and my self-satisfied smile vanished! | |
