photo: sue lindley weltzeituhr built in 1969 and seemingly plonked down without too much thought in the vast, empty, windblown space that is alexanderplatz, the world time clock was part of the socialist regime's complete redesign of the area. the clock is ten metres high with the red enameled cylinder rotating to display the current time in the world’s most important cities. | |
