 photo: sue lindley the main work of the fishermen is usually carried out in the morning, the heat getting pretty intense from lunchtime. once the fishing is over though the more sedate task of checking the nets begins: the nets are spread across the beach and each link checked and repaired as necesary. i suppose that when you spend so much effort for such meagre rewards the last thing you want is any fish escaping you! | |
