 photo: david lindley happy, and clutching his new pen tightly (see yesterday) our boy makes his way carefully through the paddy field towards home... ...only to return ten minutes later with a large possy of anklebiters, all keen to share in our generous bounty. unfortunately they were to be sadly disappointed as we had already donated our collective pen. for the rest of the trip we cursed the fact that we were unable to dish out something as simple as a cheap bic in order to make a child happy. next trip we'll probably take a few thousand, only to be faced with the complete indifference of the local population! | |
