![]() photo: david lindley i went looking for a barbers in the village where we were staying for the night for a shave - unfortunately there was too big a queue so i had to just cultivate the beard for one more night - when i came across this little girl buying a cone of peanuts from a street vendor. she had the typically short hair of hindu girls in that region, and also the painted eyebrows common there: the 'paint' being made from ground up ashes from coconut husks mixed with oil. | |
