 photo: sue lindley perhaps it's their slightly off-kilter resemblance to their cousins, the homo sapiens, that does it but i've never cared much for monkeys; the monkey house was always the one part of regent's park zoo that i'd skirt around rapidly when i was a child. in any event we came across a family of monkeys during our trip around periyar national park and we lucky enough to be able to get up close enough to catch a few nice (if that's the word) photos of them. and if they're apes, i'm sorry but they're all the same to me! | |
