![]() photo: sue lindley heading further into the highlands, in towards the vast tea plantations that play such a big part of the local economy, we stopped in some dusty one-horse town for a leg stretch and a quick cup of tea (a beer would have been far more preferable, but we took one look at the sole bar in town and decided to stick to the tea!). behind a parade of shops, and bordering a scrappy square of wasteland was a beautifully painted wall, of which this formed a section: it didn't seem to be advertising anything; there were no signs for bollywood movies; nor adverts for the many jewllers shops; nor for beauty parlours; just a painted wall where you wouldn't expect to find one. | |
