![]() photo: david lindley in the dying light of the afternoon, driving through the tea plantations, we came across a group of tea pickers packing, weighing and loading the last crop of the day onto a tractor by the side of the road. we stopped and asked if we could watch them work: for a few minutes they stared at us and we stared at them, both laughing and smiling all the while, but then time being money (literally for them i'm sure) they swiftly resumed their roles and we were able to get a few shots of them at work. | |
