 photo: david lindley the roadtonowhere is one year old today! no longer crawling around on its knees and in dirty nappies, it has now started to walk upright and with far more confidence than was at first the case. i well remember phoning sue with excitement the first time we ever got a comment: someone liked a photo of ours! we still get that same excitement now, and always appreciate people who have come along and taken the time to look at a photo of ours. other people's photoblogs have been a great source of inspiration too: we really enjoy our daily trawl around other sites seeing different styles, different locations, different cultures - fascinating and inspirational in equal manner! and for anyone who might look in and fancy giving it a go themselves, i'd say go for it! sue and i have learnt a lot over the past year: having this outlet, and the pressure of trying to ensure a certain standard in what we post, has meant we've been forced to think about the photo more; what we're taking; how we take it and how we process it, whereas previously, with only ourselves as audience, it really didn't make much difference. now, one year and 379 posts later, we're looking forward to the new year to come: we've plenty of ideas and plans so hopefully you'll hitch up your waggon and come along for the ride! | |
