 photo: david lindley i liked this chap so much that i couldn't decide which photo of him to post...so i've posted both! we'd gone for a pleasant afternoon walk high in the hills above the tea plantations shown yesterday, when out of nowhere we came across kurinji tea shop: masala tea ginger tea cardamom tea lemon grass tea all 6 rupees each. and if you were stretched for cash a plain tea was only 3.50 rupees. this chap stood beside the corrugated shack/tea shop, apparently drying his brolly. he stood in this same position, as immobile as any statue, for the good half hour we were there. if you're interested i had ginger tea and sue, i think, the masala. | |
