 photo: david lindley i used a reverse scam of sorts on this chap to get this shot. he's a wood craftsman at the altun ha site and, whereas 99% of the stuff there was obviously being turned out for the cruise trade, this chap was making items of a class and style not really shown by the other stallholders. sue and i decided to barter for the purchase of a mayan totem head he was sanding down and, as part of the barter, i insisted the price included a photo! hence the slightly bemused look i think. listening to: not one bit ashamed ~ king creosote | |
