 photo: david lindley a local hostelry in belize's capital city belmopan. a bit of a sleepy new town feel about it; the government was moved here in the 1960's after a particularly bad hurricane almost flattened the then capital belize city. only trouble was that for many years no-one outside the immediate government wanted to move with it and it stayed a dusty little place until relatively recently when the stable government and relatively flourishing economy brought in an influx of people. listening to: over my shoulder ~ i am kloot | |
