 photo: david lindley i've always liked the idea that, whatever we humans do to the earth, the forces of nature are always lurking around the corner just waiting for us to take our eyes off the ball for a couple of minutes and move back in and reclaim whatever we may have created. i came across this...car at the cockscomb basin wildlife sanctuary, which we visited in the forlorn hope of spotting a jaguar. well, we didn't see a jaguar but i did find this great rusting heap, which came complete with 30 foot tree growing out of what would in happier times been its roof! listening to: teenage kicks ~ the undertones (possibly the best 2.29 minutes of music ever?) | |
