 photo: sue lindley okay, okay, okay; hands up; i was wrong and my gorgeous wife was right. there, i've said it. my crop of her shot was rubbish yesterday and she was right to get me to post the original instead! however, as nature abhors a vacuum, i abhor clever-dicks and so if you want to see an alternative version of today's shot in which sue's caught wearing her saturday night fever trousers, then click here oh, the photo. well, apparently the mayan pyramids once would have been completely covered with stucco, such as shown here, and decorated in vivid colours. must have been a fabulous sight in their heyday. unfortunately, here at xunantunich, this is just a reconstruction of how this pyramid might once have been decorated listening to: burning benches ~ morning runner | |
