 photo: sue lindley apparently, colle di val d'elsa produces 15% of the worlds crystal glassware. we were blissfully unaware of that until now, and i have to say i'm a little surprised that the streets weren't lined with tourist shops devoted to these wares; it was just a pleasant quiet place, calling it 'sleepy' would be giving it a possibly too exciting name! | |
