 photo: sue lindley always keen fans of monet's haystack series of paintings, we've been saddened by the disappearance of the old style of stacks in favour of the uniform mechanised rolls of hay you see dotted around fields these days. so we were especially happy to come across these haystacks in a field near volterra, so reminsicent of bygone days. | |
