 photo: david lindley a couple of days late i know but today we start a series of shots from the city of siena. we arrived there dressed for high summer and were slightly worried (and goose-bumpy) by the blanket of mist that laid over the city. very quickly though the sun started to burn through, leaving the hilltops bathed in a wonderful pearly light. up on top of the hill here you can see the duomo, the cathedral - of which far more later. oh, and for those fans of british weather: it's raining. again. | |
