 photo: sue lindley driving inland and north towards the etosha national park we stopped for an overnight stay in a camp famous for its elephant population. once settled we made our way through the brush towards a long dried-up riverbed where we hoped to see our first glimpse on the trip of elephants. there was plenty of sign of them; you could hardly take a step without coming across 'evidence' of their passing so to speak! but of them, nothing. we walked along the bed for a while as the sun set towards the horizon but eventually decided to turn back towards the camp where we discovered a little group of mules, including this handsome fellow. so, no elephants, but what a cutie! | |
