 photo: david lindley angel falls from the air. wow. with a 975m drop (3300 feet) it's a simply awesome sight as your plane banks around and you first see what has been the whole point of your trip to venezuela in the first place. what starts as numerous powerful streams of water turns to mist and spray at roughly the halfway point, as if gravity itself is insufficient to keep such a volume of water together during such a long fall. you circle once, twice, three times, even four but when you leave you still wish that you could just have one more circuit. | |
