 photo: sue lindley our final venezuela post! what a shame, what a place! travelling along the river you finally approach cainma, which passes for the local resort (and shortcut for those who choose to fly in to pay a quick visit to the angel falls) and your first chance for six days to have a decent shower and a cold bottle of beer. however, as you reach almost spitting distance of cainma the river splits into three; how do you know which branch to take? how on earth do you know (and you think of those old explorers, not so blessed with modern maps and freindly guides) that each of the three ends in a thundering waterfall? | |
