 the retreat is where we stayed in las alpujarras, a beautiful old farmhouse, which is run by a lovely couple Dominic & Martina. At the time of our visit they were busily harvesting almonds (70 trees, at 5 trees a day!) while we made ourselves quite at home, relaxing under the shade of a fig tree with a glass of rosada. Talking to them made us realise how much we would love the 'alternative' lifestyle rather than slaving away at a desk from 9-5; we can but dream... | |
