 photo: sue lindley not being a competetive couple or anything, we just couldn't decide which photo of the church in the market town of orgiva to use: today's is mine; tomorrow's is David's. obviously mine is better! i'e not been able to find out much about the church. some accounts mention the remains of a fortified arab tower in the village, and perhaps the conquering christians did what they did all over spain and converted it into a church. unfortunately it was locked - as most of the churches are in spain, apparently to deter theft - which seems such a shame. | |
