boat, sea

i'm reliably informed that leigh on sea is the posh bit of southend but i'm sure that the inhabitants deny completely that it has anything to do with the place. gradually the village, complete with cockle and whelk stalls, cobbled streets and the obligatory ye olde cream tea shops, has been caught up in the urban sprawl of 3 bed semi's from its' larger neighbour. however it still retains an old world charm and there are still fishing boats moored off-shore.
